SAC activates the community scientist in every curious kid. Designed by a world-class museum and scientific research institute, SAC activities include real-world STEM and nature challenges that inspire wonder and spark innovation. From Anchorage to Albany, over 78,000 youth and educators in more than 480 cities and towns across 43 states have participated in Science Action Club since 2011. Join the growing SAC network today!

Kits are designed to minimize administrative burden and maximize youth engagement.
Each kit is available in English or bilingual English/Spanish and includes:

    ▪︎ One activity guidebook with 12 fun activity plans
    ▪︎ Science tools and supplies for 20 youth
    ▪︎ Interactive, self-paced online training for program staff
    ▪︎ Bonus activities and resources including recommendations for virtual or in-person clubs

SAC is valued at $1,800. The full program fee for one SAC kit is $1,500.

SAC believes in providing equitable access to high-quality science education for all youth. We use pay-what-you-can pricing to determine the cost of a SAC kit for your program. No program will ever be turned away based on its budget. Indicate what you can contribute to the price per kit on your enrollment form.

If you need help determining the discount you should take, you can base it off of your organization’s annual operating budget. Suggested costs are listed below for one kit:
    ▪︎ More than $1,000,000 annual budget = $1,500  
    ▪︎ $500,000 - $1,000,000 annual budget = $800
    ▪︎ $250,000 - $500,000 annual budget = $450
    ▪︎ Less than $250,000 annual budget = $250 (a 90% discount)
